There is no particular time of the day to feed your pet their Antinol® capsules. We recommend feeding your Antinol® capsules with their breakfast meal or dinner meals, or both if giving 2 or more capsules per day.

You can give your pet the Antinol® capsules that work best for your routine. If you feed twice a day, you can split the dosage and if you feed once a day, it is safe to give all the capsules at one time. For pets with more sensitive stomachs, it is recommended to split the dosage AM/PM with food if it is your pet's first taking Antinol®.

The entire capsule is designed to be ingested. Antinol® Plus is a small soft gel capsule only 1cm long so it is super easy to mix in with their food and many pets will gladly eat it out of your hand.

The earliest age we recommend taking Antinol® Plus is 8 weeks old, as a general recommendation. If your pet is 6 months or younger, get in contact with us and we can help advise the best dosage for your pet! 

The amount of Antinol® Plus you give will depend on the weight of the pet and the severity of their symptoms. 

A general guideline is: 

Load (double) the daily dose recommendation for the first 15 days or if recommencing after a break of 7 days.

Pets over the weight of 22kg are recommended to take 2 capsules per day

Pets under the weight of 22kg are recommended to take 1 capsule per day.

Our Starter Packs come with FREE capsules to help cover the first 15 days of the loading phase. Your starter pack will come with 75 capsules for small dogs or 150 capsules for large dogs. Unfortunately, some of our pets don't like the smell/taste of the capsules. You can purchase our Easy-Feed capsules that are as simple as cutting the top off the capsule and squeezing the oil directly onto their food.

Yes. Antinol's all-natural ingredients are designed to work with your pet and their symptoms. It is perfectly safe to keep your pet on the loading dose if they need the extra dose or you have noticed that your pet is healthier and happier on the higher dose rate. It is recommended to double dose in times when your pet has competed in a sporting event, had a strenuous day of exercise, in the colder months and during high allergy season. The loading dose (or double dosing) is for pets that have never tried Antinol® Plus before or have had a long break between administration of the capsules (over 7 days approx.). The loading dose is simply doubling the recommended capsules for your pet based on their weight as per our packaging for the first 15 days. The guide is below:

DOG

• Small (under 22kg) loading dose = 2 capsules 
• Medium/Large (over 22kg) = 4 capsules 

CAT

• All sizes = 2 capsules

No, Antinol® Plus will ONLY come in capsule form. When fatty acids, such as Omega-3s, come into contact with oxygen, they undergo oxidation, which can degrade their quality. This process produces harmful compounds like peroxides and aldehydes, reducing the efficacy and stability of the fatty acids. If Antinol® were in a bottle form, the exposure to oxygen each time the bottle is opened would accelerate the oxidation process, leading to a decline in the potency and quality of the omega fatty acids. This is why Antinol® is provided in individually sealed capsules, ensuring the omegas remain at the highest quality and decreasing the risk of the oxidation process.

Our Easy Feed capsules are designed for the more fussy eaters. The capsule is designed to have the top of it cut off, so you can squeeze the very important oils directly onto your pet's food with no mess. Historically, our pet parents would piece a small hole in the side of the original capsules to attempt to the get oils out. This caused a big, not so nice smelling mess, so we invented a mess-free way.

Yes, the entire capsule is edible so you can feed your pet the whole capsule. 

EAB-277 which is a synergistic blend of marine oil extracts, combining PCSO-524 and high-phospholipid krill oil with olive oil and natural antioxidants, including astaxanthin. This 100% naturally occurring fatty acid group features a unique composition of free fatty acids, sterol esters, and polar lipids. The raw material for this blend is derived from a scientifically developed and validated form of the New Zealand mollusc Perna canaliculus and high-phospholipid extracts from Antarctic Euphausia superba. Using advanced stabilizing and supercritical CO₂ fluid technology, this unique marine oil compound is carefully processed to create the final, highly stable product.

Antinol® Plus does contain a very small amount of sorbitol in the gel capsule shell to make the shell more robust. This is because krill oil can degrade the gelatin capsule faster than the green-lipped mussel oil which means that the capsule could "leak", especially in warmer climates. We have taken great care to use the minimum amount of sorbitol necessary to serve its function whilst ensuring it remains safe for dogs and cats. We have conducted canine and feline safety studies for this particular product (these are awaiting peer review and will soon be published), and they confirm this new formula is safe to use in pets.

Regardless, we guarantee you will see a difference in your dog within 60-days, or receive your money back. If you are not 100% satisfied with our product, please contact us so we can give you a full refund of the paid amount (minus any discounts, shipping costs etc) within 60 days of the original purchase date.
